Quota Limit
Each Subscription Plan has separate quota limits on Record, Queries, and Operations counts.
Records Quota#
Records Quota is the allocated maximum numbers of items (as designated by product ID) you can have in Altoshift index at all times. When quota limit is reached, you can no longer insert additional items unless you bring the total numbers of items down by deleting some. Alternatively, you can increase the quota limit by upgrading to higher Plan (if available) or by purchasing ADD-ON Record item under Billing -> Plan menu.
Queries Quota#
User Queries Quota is the allocated maximum numbers of user search queries in a month. At every 1st of the month, the Queries Quota will reset and you will get new full quota. When the numbers of queries exceeds the quota limit (before reset), the subsequent queries will incure automatic charge (over-limit charge) of $0.50 per 1,000 queries. You can avoid this charge by ensuring that your usage is still well below the limit. You can increase your quota limit either by upgrading to higher Plan (if available) or by purchasing ADD-ON User Queries item under Billing -> Plan menu. This will give you lower rate than the over-limit charge rate. Both User Search Query and Recommender Query (from Recommender feature) will count towards your Queries Quota.

Operations Quota#
Operations Quota is the allocated maximum numbers of operations in a month. Here, operations include many activities that are not initiated by users. Basically things related to operational activities such as inserting / updating / deleting items and setting Altoshift features. The table below lists all of the operations activities and how each is counted towards your Operations Quota.
At every 1st of the month, the Operations Quota will reset and you will get new full quota. Tips on avoiding huge Operations count#
Ensure that you only insert or update items as needed, i.e, only the affected items need to be sent to Altoshift system instead of resending the entire items in your catalog.
